“Numisnautical” Trilogy - A Book about Ships on Coins

Author Yossi Dotan completes a three volume book series on world coins having watercrafts and ship designs. The third book of the series is set to be released this December. The three volume set of “Watercraft on the World Coins” is a catalogue of the “ship coins” issued from 1800 CE.The author is a “nimisnautical” researcher and a recognised expert on the modern coins depicting ship designs.
‘Watercraft on World Coins’ trilogy details:
Volume I: Contains European coins from 1800 CE to 2005 CE in a 287 pages long catalogue.
Volume II: Contains coins issued in America and Asia till 2008 CE and has 359 pages.
Volume III: Contains of 460 pages cataloguing the coins of Africa and Oceania till 2011.
The catalogues are arranged by countries and within each country the coins depicting the same ship designs are grouped together. The catalogues contain both, the circulating and the non-circulating coins.
The third volume has over 950 designs and reflects the growth in the popularity of ship coins with collectors. This last volume of the trilogy, Volume III: Africa and Oceania, 1800-2011, is published by The Alpha Press and is set to be released in December for $79.95 and is ready for ordering.
